Practice Facility

Members can hone their skills at TPC River Highlands’s 23-acre PGA TOUR quality practice facility, one of the largest and most comprehensive in the state of Connecticut. The ideal setting for perfecting every aspect of the game, the practice facility features: 

» 360-yard driving range 
» 10,000 square-foot putting green 
» 6,000 square-foot chipping green
» 13,000 square-foot chipping area 
» 110,000 square feet of tees

A variety of private and group instructional programs taught by award-winning teaching professionals utilizing state-of-the-art instructional tools, including video swing analysis and custom club fitting.

In addition to hosting numerous player development programs, leagues and tournaments for juniors and adults, a dedicated area adjacent to the practice facility serves as home to The First Tee of Connecticut, a youth development organization that uses golf to teach character development. A dedicated First Tee 4-hole golf course, adjacent to the practice facility, was completed in 2009.
